I think I know you mean.

But it takes a butty to know a butty and it takes time. I mean, hbcs seems to know a lot about how the pairs could possibly go, so that means he/she should have been a while in the fandom to make the pairs, know at least half of butties names aside from their tumblrs. And if that's the case, it's impossible that we haven't seen him/her around before.

Actually I think hbcs goes way back - like, yourworldoftext way back. :) Just a guess

You're analysis is helping my hypothesis get closer to the truth. Nice deduction buttie! I think HBCS is also one of the veterans in the RR fandom and that he/she might be a fanfic writer (maybe one of the most known fanfic writer in RR fandom). I remembered this specific writer who gives the most hilarious nicknames I have ever heard (or read in this case) of so after reading that epic buttship (buttleship?) nickname post, she's the one I instantly remembered. But this is still just a hunch xD
