'All Theory' is amazing, it's prob my top favorite RinRei fic.

'Logic and Beauty' and 'Butterfly Kiss' are up there too. All three of them are spot on with Rin and Rei's characterization as well as their dynamic, which is what I look for the most in fanfics.

On cooking:

Rei is a good cook. Not as good as Haru, but decent enough. He's very touchy with the nutritional content and presentation, though.

Rin should stay away from the kitchen.

But srsly. I'd probably be spazzing in my blog about my shippy thoughts on the CD and all, but I'll try my best not to do or say anything wankbaity (though I wonder how this is possible? any opinion can seem wankbait to any person). Meaning, I won't use the CD as leverage to point out that they are "canon", nor act hostile if non-Rinrei shippers question me for shipping them. I just- I just love these two so much. I don't want to be involved in ship wars because of it. In Rinrei-speak, I'll lap up all the shit if that means I can enjoy this happy, beautiful ship in peace.

The Pixiv stats made me think, but what about us? I'm also asking because most people seem to go with RinRei as a ship name, but I'm not quite sure if it truly reflects the individual's preference.

Let's discuss the songs while we're waiting for the drama translation! What's your favorite of the two and why?

BTW, There was a Rinrei anon on the Free! meme that I calmed down because they were so upset that there weren't translation of the CD yet (this was before makeupsyndrome posted the translated songs - thank you,dear!) And it made me think: dang, it's hard being a little ship sometimes. I kind of get where anon was coming from, but still, we really can't rely on many of the known translators for our translating needs because they don't ship Rinrei. That's a reality. Rin would say deal with it, and Rei would say make the best out of the situation.

So, songs: I love All Out because of this:

I had a similar feeling today regarding there not being translations while stalking the tag. I ship the other couples that have had their duets already and boy, was there action in those tags at the time. I felt a little sad because I hadn't realized how different the count of shippers is. But you are right, of course, about it just being reality, and thinking about the best of it, I feel like we have really passionate and dedicated little community and I love that. Like we make up in love what we lack in number.

About the songs, I love Vision a lot, but Go all Out!! exceeded all my expectations when I read the translation. I mean, they are taunting each other while singing AND I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT, it's that dynamic what makes me want more and more of them! ADSFLKJDGSDSFKJGDFGJL
